Swedish Vallhund Club of America: Newsletter
Members receive four issues a year. Occasionally, a small part of the newsletter will
be included here.
Newsletter Contributions: Please submit any of you articles
or stories about your dog(s). This newsletter is for all the members: both the breeders
and the mainstay dog owner/lovers.We all want to see our Vals develop and
prosper. We all want to see them acknowledged as the great breed that they
are. Though some Vals are seen in conformation, obedience, herding, and
agility shows, their true mettle is as our companions. They give to us
wholeheartedly and ask only for our love and comfort to them in return. Yet,
for the breed to develop, some of our valiant Viking dogs must go into these
arenas to put Vals in the public’s eye; to garner recognition...and thus
prosperity and endurance... for the Vallhund. Therefore, articles poignant
about the love between SV and person; articles about the genetics and
breeding successes and concerns; articles about generic and specific care
for our Vals are wanted. The newsletter will be quarterly: March, June,
September, December. Submission must be received by the first day of the
months of February, May, August, November. The SVCA Editor is Kerstin
