Update 5/31/06
On May 11, 2006, The SVCA Board sent a letter of petition to the AKC Board
Secretary, cc to M.O'Neill asking for the Swedish Vallhund to be considered for
full recognition, considering our status in Misc group will be one year old on
9/1/06, and we have continued to work with AKC to meet all requirements.
On May 21, 2006, Ms. O'Neill of the AKC informed us that she would review our petition and present the letter to the FSS committee to determine the date of presentation to the AKC Board of Directors.
If we complete all AKC requirements, a possible date for full recognition, if
approved by the full AKC board, may be June 27, 2007.
