Val Tales

 

This area will be dedicated to all those Great SV stories we each have. Everyone is encouraged to send in stories about their SVs...............who knows, maybe, as time goes on...we can have them made into an actual booklet for bedtime reading to our little guys and gals. Please send any stories to gail smyka at  svcags@comcast.net  and, if possible, include a photo of your Special SV. Our SVs are great at conformation, herding, agility, obedience, tracking, therapy, rescue, flyball, lure coursing, etc....................but ESPECIALLY as our great companions, friends, and family members. Please, send in stories and pics!

Once, when Gaelen was about 6months old, I had been working on the computer and he was playing with his toys. Unfortunately I got engrossed in what I was working on and didn't pay attention to my boy. At some point I realized it was TOOOO quiet outside of my computer room. I went to find my little mischief maker....he was laying on his pillow looking out the front room window. As I entered the front room from the hallway, he looked up at me with such angelic eyes and head tilt....my heart and soul melted. THEN I noticed the rest of the room. Gaelen had taken the roll of toilet paper from my bedroom's half-bath and GENTLY...and without tearing it....pulled it down the hallway, into the frontroom and around two separate chairs. I had a TP'd room! After a few seconds of shock, I started to laugh and laugh....and continued laughing as I tried to roll the fully undamaged TP back on the roll (ended up tossing it....too frustrating to untangle it!)
